Now, Najib says BN is not involved in the Elizabeth Wong’s outrage of modesy photos where a peeping Tom sneaked into her house and photographed her while she was asleep.  do you fucking believe Najib?  Najib also asked for proof that BN is involved.

Well, I ask Najib for proof that he is not invovled in Altantuya.  What a fucking bastard he is.

Najib: BN not involved

KUALA LUMPUR: Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak has denied that Barisan Nasional was in any way behind the circulation of scandalous photographs involving Selangor exco member and Bukit Lanjan assemblyman Elizabeth Wong.

“Barisan is not involved at all. Where is the proof? Who’s doing it?

“I don’t even know anything about this. Where is the proof? The Opposition must show proof and not accuse us blindly,” Najib told reporters after chairing a Cabinet committee meeting on the liberalisation of services sector at Parliament House yesterday.

Pakatan Rakyat de facto leader Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim had on Tuesday accused the Barisan Government behind a consistent “pattern” of smearing Members of Parliament and assemblymen.

Nude pix scandal hits PKR rep (updated)

PETALING JAYA: Outspoken Bukit Lanjan assemblyman Elizabeth Wong lodged a police report at the Damansara police station here Sunday night over nude pictures of her that have been circulating online and via MMS.

Early unconfirmed reports say that the pictures were taken without her consent.

OCPD Asst Comm Arjunaidi Mohamed confirmed a report was lodged and that police were investigating.

The pictures are believed to have been taken using a handphone, possibly before the general election last March.

On Monday morning, Wong’s staff had locked the doors to her office at the state assembly building in Shah Alam.

Her special assistant Chua Yee Ling said the assemblyman was at a meeting and would be releasing an official statement on the issue on Monday afernoon.

Wong won the Bukit Lanjan seat with a majority of over 5,000, the second largest majority won by PKR state assembly candidates in Selangor.

She was later appointed a member of the Selangor state executive council, in charge of Tourism, Consumer Affairs and the Environment. She is also the information chief of the Women’s wing of PKR and of her division Petaling Jaya Utara.

As at press time, she had not commented on the issue on her blog .

SHAH ALAM: About 400 people gathered outside the Istana Bukit Kayangan here yesterday to hand over a memorandum pledging allegiance to Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah of Selangor as well as the nation’s Malay rulers.

The crowd, comprising Umno members as well as representatives from several Malay-based non-governmental organisations and Universiti Teknologi Mara students, also condemned DAP chairman Karpal Singh for threatening to take the Perak Sultan to court recently.

Carrying banners, the group walked about 500m to the palace gates to hand over the memorandum to the Sultan’s naval aide-decamp Commander Ahmad Ram li Kardi.

Selangor Malay Students Association president Datuk Dr Mat Yasir Ikhsan handed over the memorandum.

Other organisations that participated in the event were the Selangor chapter of the Federation of Peninsular Malay Students, Sela ngor Students Council, Universiti Tek nologi Mara Students Council, Organi sation of Islamic Missionaries and Welfare Malaysia (Pekida), the Sela ngor chapter of the Malaysian Silat Federation and Gerakan Belia 4B Se la ngor Shah Alam federation of non-governmental organisations.

Former Mentri Besar Datuk Seri Dr Mohd Khir Toyo, who was at the event, said no one should be allowed to show insolence to the Sultans.

Pakatan Rakyat today continued its attempts to reverse the perception of “derhaka” with Pas vice president Datuk Husam Musa labelling Umno Youth’s pro-monarchy demonstrations as “embarrassing” to the royalty.

“They have been embarrassing the royalty by giving Malay boys RM50 and a t-shirt to gather but only end up with 1,000 to 1,500 people,” he told reporters before a PR coalition-building workshop today.

Umno Youth has been organising rallies to defend Malay rulers while labelling PR as anti-monarchy and has accused it of “derhaka” or treason, over its refusal to accept the Perak Sultan’s move to appoint a Barisan Nasional (BN) government.

But PR leaders at the workshop today sought to counter this claim by belittling Umno’s efforts and bringing up past examples of Umno’s tussles with the royalty.

“If we were actually challenging the sovereignty of the monarchy, why are there less than 2,000 people at the gatherings?

“Umno should stop as this is shameful. And how come it is only Umno Youth? Where is the rest of BN?” Husam added.

“If the rulers were really being challenged, even I would join the protest,” he quipped.

He stated that the fact of the matter was that PR was not challenging the position or sovereignty of the monarchy but the actions of Sultan Azlan Shah in the context of the constitution.

In his opening speech, DAP vice chairman Tunku Abdul Aziz Ibrahim also condemned the protests by Umno Youth against DAP chairman Karpal Singh’s statement that the Perak ruler can be sued over his actions which he deemed were unconstitutional.

He labelled the behaviour of Umno Youth supporters as similar to “Hitler Youth,” the Nazi extremist paramilitary group that supported Adolf Hitler’s Aryan supremacist doctrine.

“If anyone should be tried for treason, it should be Mahathir,” he said, referring to former Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamed’s role in initiating constitutional amendments which removed immunities for the royals in 1993.

PKR deputy president Dr Syed Husin Ali had also slammed Umno as being the ones who were traitors

He said that when there was an impasse over who should be mentri besar in Terengganu, Umno supporters had held up banners insulting its Sultan as “Raja Binatang (Animal King).”

I heard from somebody before the below news was published.  I heard that certain political party went to see the ruler.  I heard that an offer was made to build an International Airport.  I also heard that since the ruler is happy with this offer, the ruler’s decision caused the fall of this state ?

Plans underway for new international airport in Ipoh

IPOH: Plans are in motion to build a new international airport here to allow large aircraft, low cost carriers and cargo transport to land.

Housing and Local Government Minister Datuk Seri Ong Ka Chuan said a 1,200ha plot had been identified to build the airport, but declined to reveal the location.

“I will propose the idea to the Prime Minister very soon but will first discuss it with the Mentri Besar next week.

“I need his blessing and consent for the land,” Ong told reporters on Friday night after attending the Perak Senior Citizens Associations Chinese New Year dinner celebration.

He said his idea was for an airport that could accommodate all classes of aircraft and eventually cargo transport, adding that certain quarters he had spoken to had expressed keen interest.

Asked about previous plans to expand the runway of the under-used Sultan Azlan Shah airport here, Ong said it was not viable because the current airport was surrounded by hills and situated in the middle of the city.

“Even if you extend the runway, there’s no point. It can only qualify as a domestic airport. We have to find a new airport, that has always been on my mind,” he said.

Asked about the cost of the proposed new airport and whether its construction would be fully funded at the federal level, he said: “That we still have to discuss. I don’t know how much it would cost but it will definitely be good for Perak. It will bring in a lot of tourism, industrial activities and development.”

On another matter, Ong said his ministry was working to extend infrastructure aid to another 150 fishing villages and planned settlements next week.

He said the Government allocated RM50mil every year to the new villages, and the additions would require another RM10mil to RM20mil, with Cabinet approval.
